The Facebook fundraiser started with the thought of a $250 which seemed to be what every individual fundraising goal was but as soon as we started writing our story, we realized that our goal was way too low so it was increased to $5000. We achieved the goal in 8 days and increased our goal to $10,000. By the end of the 6 weeks, we had hit $11,001 for Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa.
Almost 60,000 steps, over 44 km in 10 hours. I guess that we did pick it up from the 2021 walk!
