Ingrid McPherson, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, provided us with our nutrition plan before, during and after our 100km in 24 hour walk and for Greg’s 600km walk from Niagara Falls in 2024.
Ingrid’s focus, however, is helping people improve their mental health using nutrient dense foods, natural supplementation, and lifestyle recommendations.
Ingrid also speaks to groups and is available for booking.

Youth Services Bureau (YSB) plays a leadership role and works in close collaboration with other agencies and groups in the community that are dedicated to providing the best possible services to young people and their families and communities. We continually draw on and expand our expertise in their day-to-day dealings with the 2,500 to 3,000 people who come to YSB for help each month.”


Soul Space Ottawa is a collective of frontline workers, wellness providers, and community members who aim to support the spiritual care needs of frontline street health, harm reduction, community and social service workers in Ottawa, Canada.

Soul Space facilitates gatherings to explore reflective practices, such as creative arts, yoga, meditation, forest bathing and more, to prevent and heal from burnout, grief and loss.


Moms Stop the Harm (MSTH) is a network of Canadian families impacted by substance-use-related harms and deaths.

MSTH advocates for the change of failed drug policies, provides peer support to grieving families, and assists those with loved ones who use or have used substances.


The Canadian Mental Health Association is a nationwide organization with 330 community locations that promotes mental health and supports people recovering from mental illness.

The Ottawa branch is once again lending their support to this year’s walk and we are hoping to have a representative from CMHA Ottawa at the finish line once again.


Operation Come Home assists youth experiencing homelessness to achieve their goals, and avoid the experience of homelessness as an adult. Operation Come Home offers Employment, Education, Housing, Mental Health, Harm Reduction, and Drop In programs for at-risk youth aged 16-29


Psychiatric Survivors of Ottawa is a non-profit organization founded in 1991 and is a community of peers using lived experiences with the mental health system to support one another in moving towards their full potential.


The Ottawa Mission – As Ottawa’s oldest and largest homeless shelter, the Ottawa Mission has 18 programs and services to help vulnerable community members rebuild their lives. One of these programs is our integrated suite of Addiction and Trauma Services. Our team works with clients to break this cycle so they can take the first step to recovery. The journey to wellness comes through harm reduction and live-in treatment, gradually moving towards abstinence and independence. Treatment is tailored to each person’s needs.


Ottawa Black Mental Health Coalition – Dedicated to achieving a more equitable mental health system by improving access to culturally competent mental health support and resources, offering healthier outcomes Black residents in Ottawa


Ottawa West Four Rivers Ontario Health Team brings together health and social service providers and community members (lived experience partners), working together to simplify and coordinate health and community support services
​in our communities.


Parents’ Lifeline of Eastern Ontario is a non-profit family peer support organization for parents whose children to age 25 are facing mental health challenges. PLEOs Family Peer Supporters bring the wisdom and experience of supporting their child, youth, or young adult with mental health or addiction challenges, as well as completing extensive ongoing training on the mental health system.

Help us reach the goal! – We have set the bar high this year, knowing that when we are faced with difficult times, mental health is adversely affected and demand for services increases. Our goal is $20,000 for Youth Services Bureau.
Businesses and organizations donating $500 or more will have their names added here, receive mention across our social media pages and have their name displayed at the booth at the downtown event on May 31.
