Raising awareness to the mental health and toxic drug crisis

Through speaking engagements, interviews, events and walks to raise awareness, our goal is to fight the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use.

Who we are
We are a family with an empty chair at every celebration, every holiday and every family dinner. We live with the grief brought on by tragically losing our son, our brother to the mental health crisis and the toxic drug supply.

Aric and Madeleine
They had so much to offer the world but both lost their battles for mental health, leaving behind loving families, friends and a world that is now empty of their beautiful souls.

On The Road 4 Mental Health 2026
We are working on our 2026 awareness campaign and will be posting updates early in the new year.
2026 will mark 10 years since British Columbia became the first province to declare a public health emergency. Also, 10 years ago in 2016, Canada’s national count of deaths due to the opioid crisis began, led by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Since January 2016, up to and including March of 2025, there have been 53,821 lost to the crisis in Canada and in 2026, we plan on remembering each and every one of those lost.
